Configuration parameters for the email account on Physics Department/INFN server:
We suggest Mozilla Thunderbird and we have set an auto-configurator: you can just set the email address. Otherwise:
incoming server: idefix.mi.infn.it
outgoing server: mbox.mi.infn.it otherwise mbox.fisica.unimi.it
outgoing server port: 25
username: the same used for idefix.mi.infn.it
password: the same used for idefix.mi.infn.it
protocol and ports: IMAP on port 993 (suggested) otherwise POP on port 995
For laptop o smartphone configuration use these parameters:
outgoing server: mboxauth.mi.infn.it
outgoing server port: 465 (check SSL or TLS)
username: the same used for idefix.mi.infn.it
password: the same used for idefix.mi.infn.it
